Why I built this app

A pump price by itself does not always answer the question a driver actually has. A small difference per litre is easier to understand when it becomes a cost per mile, the price of a normal fill, or the estimated cost of a regular journey.

This app is designed to connect those jobs without becoming a complicated vehicle logbook. Record the fuel you buy, use that information to understand the car, and use the same vehicle data when comparing stations or routes.

Focused V1

The current version is deliberately focused on petrol/gasoline and diesel cars. Features such as EV charging or hybrid battery tracking are not part of the current release.

Part of Travel Tools & Tips

This app is one of several small tools created as part of the Travel Tools & Tips project. The wider project focuses on practical, focused utilities for everyday tasks.

Professional background

My day job is working in product design and digital product development as Head of Product Design at BroadShield, a company focused on workforce development software.

Projects like this are personal side projects created independently in my own time. They provide a way to experiment, learn and build small focused tools from start to finish.
